Background

My name is Wanda Presthus and I am a nerdy-girl with a PhD in informatics. I have always been fascinated by technology and how it influences people. I work as an Associate Professor at Kristiania University College (former Westerdals and NITH). Currently, I lecture in business systems and analysis for both Masters- and Bachelor students. Previously, I taught ERP- and CRM-systems, in addition to Data Science, research methods and E-business.
My PhD was about successful Business Intelligence solutions and what we can learn from these. Currently, I publish mainly on information privacy and ethics within the context of business analytics and Data Science such as algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. Research is not limited to publishing your own results, hence I also contribute as a peer-reviewer and volunteer organiser at conferences.
Finally, I am programme director for the Master of Information Systems with specialization in Management and Innovation. Check it out on our website – it is great.
