You can apply to postpone your submission until 15 September.
(for postponed submission of up to 14 days in relation to the ordinary submission deadline, please refer to the information above relating to “Illness during the delivery and submission of home examinations”).
Submissions postponed to the autumn semester are associated with some consequences you should be aware of:
- The results (grades) of bachelor’s thesis submitted on 15 September are registered as having been submitted one semester later than the standard completion time deadline. If you pass, your degree transcript will show that your bachelor’s degree was achieved in the autumn semester (and not within the standard completion time ending in the spring semester). Postponed submission of the bachelor’s thesis will preclude you from being admitted to a master’s degree programme starting during the same autumn semester.
- Postponement of submission until 15 September may have consequences for any support you receive from Lånekassen (“The Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund”). If you have a customer relationship with Lånekassen, we ask that you inform them of the postponement and that you investigate how the postponement may affect your agreement.
- Students who are due to submit their thesis on 15 September will not be eligible to attend further lectures or receive additional academic supervision. However, academic supervision hours can be distributed across a longer period of time subject to agreement with your academic supervisor.
- If you are due to submit your thesis on 15 September, you will not be required to pay tuition fees for the autumn semester and you will not be registered as an active student. However, you will retain all access associated with Feide.
