Background

Kristi Grønvold Bache is employed in the position of vice-rector for research and artistic development work. She has a research-heavy background with an education in molecular biology from the University of Oslo and a Dr.philos. from the Department of Cancer Research at the Radium Hospital. For four years she was a postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). She has experience ranging from basic research to clinical studies. She received a grant from the Norwegian Cancer Society to take her Dr.philos. in molecular biology, then she received a postdoctoral grant from NFR to travel to UCSD, USA, before returning to the Radiumhospital and receiving a research grant from Helse Sør-Ost. Later positions include researcher, Principal Investigator, and research manager at the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation, editor-in-chief of the Scandinavian Journal of Trauma, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine (SJTREM), and vice-rector for research and communication at Østfold University College. She is part of UHR Forskning's working committee, and is a board member of several companies.
