Learning Outcomes

This is the study for those who are passionate about IT and technology, and who want to create innovative user experiences and solutions.

On this course, you will develop advanced knowledge within the fields of IT architecture, integration, development and modern information systems, focusing on theories, research questions, research methods and professional standards.

Close links to the industry, including the internship and master thesis in collaboration with the business community helps you succeed with this. You work with topics that are deeply rooted to the discipline.

You will gain a practical competence within:

  • Design of visual information dashboards based on big data
  • Knowledge and practical skills in the development of mobile solutions, Internet of Things and modern architectures
  • Expertise within interactive technology and software integration

    • How we work

      Our research emphasizes economics, innovation, digitization and IT. In addition, there are several exciting research projects in applied informatics, information systems and human-computer interaction. Our lecturers have extensive experience both within industry and academia. Relevant working life experience is brought into the teaching through lecturing and guest lecturing. This will make you used to working life challenges and will ease the transition between study life and work life.

      Moreover, we collaborate with Gründergarasjen (Oslo’s incubator for technology-intensive early-stage startups) and Loftet Studentinkubator (Kristiania’s own incubator for students who have a business idea or a startup).
