Install on Windows

  1. Log in to Office 365 from Kristiania University College
  2. Click the “Install Office” button and select “Office 365 apps” to start downloading the installation program.
  3. Open the downloaded program. If you are asked whether you want to allow the program to make changes to your computer, click “yes”.
  4. The installation will start.
  5. When the installation is complete you will see the message “Everything is ready! Office is now installed.” and an animation will show you where to find the Office applications.
  6. Office must be fully activated and linked to your student account, so just follow any instructions that pop up automatically.

Install on Mac

  1. Log in to Office 365 from Kristiania University College
  2. Click the “Install Office” button and select “Office 365 apps” to start downloading the installation program.
  3. Open the downloaded program.
  4. Click through the installation, selecting the options you want. The default choices work best for most people.
  5. When the installation is complete, you need to launch an Office program, such as Word, to activate the Office suite. See activation instructions in the next point.

Activation on Mac

  1. After launching an Office program for the first time, click through the activation process until you are asked to enter an e-mail address. Enter the following and proceed:
    [your-Feide-username]@egms.no
  2. This will bring you to our login portal, where you can choose between Ernst G Mortensen’s foundation and Feide. Select Feide and log in with your Feide username and password. Forgotten your password?
  3. The Office suite is now activated and ready for use.

Log in to Office apps on a mobile device

When you start an app from Microsoft that you have downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, it will ask you to sign in and for an e-mail address. Enter your login address:

[your-Feide-username]@egms.no

The login portal will open, where you can select FEIDE and then log in with your FEIDE username and password.

The app should be ready for use.
