Waiting list to borrow a book in our collections

The instructions for getting placed on a waiting list to borrow a book in our collections is the same as when requesting a book from another library.  The only difference is that you first select "Kristiania University College" in the drop-down menu beside the search box.

About article requests

Articles the library has access to can be searched for in Oria (the library's catalogue).

First, check if the article is available through the library. Select "Kristiania University College" in the drop-down menu by the search box, and search for the article. If you do not get a hit, choose "Norwegian academic libraries".

If you have found an article you do not have access to, you can request a copy through the library. Article requests is limited to academic literature relevant to the studies. Read more in the library's regulations on journal databases and copy ordering.

Article pickup

  • Articles must be picked up during staffed opening hours.
  • Online students who are unable to retrieve requested article copies at one of our libraries can receive a copy of the article home. Please contact the library on biblioteket@kristiania.no or provide the correct delivery postal address as a comment in your request.
  • Employees in Oslo will receive the article by internal mail.
  • Employees in Bergen can pick up the article from the library in Bergen.
