Background

Martin Stav Engedahl is an osteopath and physiotherapist with a MSc in sports physiotherapy. He is an Assistant Professor at Kristiania University College.

Martin has many years of clinical experience from work in private clinic, rehabilitation center and youth and elite sports, especially in ice hockey and floorball. He has worked with elite teams in ice hockey and floorball, youth national teams in ice hockey and with the men's Norwegian national team in floorball. 

Martin has extensive experience in teaching at university level and as a lecturer in osteopathy and sports medicine. He has participated in development projects at Oslo Sports Traume Research Center and is part of several research and development projects in osteopathy. In 2011, he completed his master thesis in sports physiotherapy at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. For his thesis he was part of a research group who developed a new method for survaillance of overuse injuries in sports. This method is now used in several research projects around the world.
