Background
Eivind Brevik is an Associate Professor in Information Systems, and Head of Department at the Department of Technology. His research interest is linked to the human side of IT.
Brevik has a Master of Business Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, as well as a Master of Science in Business with specialization in organizational psychology. He also has practical-pedagogical education from the University of Oslo and officers education from the Royal Norwegian Navy (Coastal Artillery).
From 1998 to 2014, he was Assistant Professor, marketing manager (2005-2008) and acting rector(2013-2014) at NITH. He was also Dean - Faculty of Technology at Westerdal's Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology (2014-2017) until the merger with Kristiania University College.
